The Woody Bay Hotel is in the midst of thousands of acres of National Trust woodland, and is an excellent starting point for coastal, woodland and moor-land walks of extraordinary beauty. We are always pleased to make suggestions for walks that are off the beaten track, where you can glimpse the varied wildlife of Exmoor.

Our rugged and varied coastline also offers surfing, swimming and beachcombing. Excellent stables for horse riding are close at hand, as well as horse-drawn wagon tours of moor and farmland; and the charming beauty of Lorna Doone country is easily accessible by car.
